Back in January, I spent a weekend in Tofino with friends Julianne and Laura, to celebrate Laura’s birthday.

Unfortunately, I spent most of the visit sick with a cold, but still had a good time wandering around beaches and enjoying the view.

We stayed at a cute little cabin with a lot of character. It had direct access to Chesterman Beach, by way of a path lined with driftwood and beach debris.

We also walked the Lighthouse Loop of the Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet.

And we stopped at Ellis River on the drive home.
